Frost. A few days ago
a Balloon supposed to have been let off
at Birmingham fell at Cheadle in
Staffordshire, The farmers took it into a two pair of stairs room, and
attempted to blow it up again with a pair of bellows, during which one of them
approaching too near with a candle, the remaining inflammable air tore off the
wainscot, broke all the furniture, and drove out the casement to a considerable
distance, but did no damage to the Bystanders, except singeing their hair
